What is your return policy?
We gladly accept returns on veils that are in their original condition — unworn, unwashed, unaltered, undamaged, clean, and free of lint or hair. The veil must be in its original packaging with all tags attached. Please note that once any tag has been removed, the item is no longer eligible for return. Final sale and discounted items cannot be returned or exchanged.
To be eligible for a refund or exchange, any fault or issue must be notified within 7 days of receiving the order, and return the item to our warehouse within 30 days. Returns received after 30 days will not be accepted. -
Do I have to pay for return shipping?
For U.S. customers: An $8.99 return fee will be deducted from your refund if you choose to use our prepaid shipping label. If you prefer, you may arrange your own return shipping through a carrier of your choice.
For international customers (outside the U.S.): All returns must be shipped back to our U.S. warehouse. At this time, we do not provide prepaid labels for international orders, so you will need to arrange and cover the return shipping with your preferred carrier.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method for all returns to ensure safe delivery.

How do I start a return or exchange?
To start a return, please email us at hello@madewhite.com with “RETURN” and your Order Number in the subject line. In your message, briefly describe the reason for the return. We will then provide you with detailed instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without a prior request will not be accepted, and rejected items will be returned to the original shipping address at the customer’s expense.
For exchanges, we recommend placing a new order for the item you’d like instead. This ensures you receive it as quickly as possible. Once we receive your returned item, we will process a refund for your original order.

How long does it take to process an exchange?
Once your return package reaches us and passes inspection, exchanges are typically processed within 3–5 business days. To receive your new item faster, we recommend placing a new order right away and returning the original for a refund.

What is your refund policy?
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you within 14 days whether your refund has been approved or declined. If approved, refunds are issued back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable. Refunds are only offered in cases of major production faults (with return postage reimbursed). For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

What should I do if I receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item?
We’re so sorry if your order arrives less than perfect. Please email us at hello@madewhite.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue. We’ll do our very best to make it right — either by sending a replacement (subject to availability) or issuing a refund. If a replacement isn’t possible, you’ll receive a full refund of your purchase price, including any shipping and handling fees.

Can I return items purchased with a discount code?
Yes, items purchased with a discount code (such as a seasonal or promotional code) are eligible for return, provided they meet all other return requirements. Please note that final sale and clearance items remain non-returnable, even if purchased with an additional discount code.

How do I return a veil received as a gift?
If you received a veil as a gift, it can be returned as long as it meets our return requirements. Please provide the order number or the purchaser’s name and email when contacting us. Refunds will go to the original payment method, or we can issue store credit if preferred.
